🎮 A New Metro 2039 Gameplay Trailer Will Be Revealed Today!

Today, August 25, Metro 2039 is returning to the big stage — 4A Games and Deep Silver will reveal a new gameplay trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026.

This will be the next major gameplay showcase following the June trailer focused on Hunter and the New Reich.

Gamescom Opening Night Live begins at:

• 20:00 CEST;
• 19:00 BST;
• 11:00 PDT;
• 21:00 Moscow time.

The exact time Metro 2039 will appear during the show has not been announced.

🔥 What can we expect?

Deep Silver has not revealed what the new trailer will contain, so we still do not know which part of the game will be shown.

We are especially hoping to see:

• new locations in the Moscow Metro;
• more actual gameplay;
• combat and stealth;
• mutants and human enemies;
• survival and exploration mechanics;
• possible new details about The Stranger, Hunter, and the New Reich.

And the new trailer will not be the end of Metro 2039's Gamescom presence.

Starting August 26, journalists and content creators will begin publishing their first impressions after getting hands-on time with a section of the game.

Then, from August 27, Gamescom visitors will be able to play Metro 2039 themselves in Hall 9.1 — marking the game's first public hands-on showcase.

For today, though, all eyes are on one thing — new Metro 2039 gameplay.
