🛒 Metro 2039 pre-orders are now open: editions, story DLC, bonuses, and strange system requirements

On October 13, 4A Games and Deep Silver officially opened pre-orders for Metro 2039.
The launch of pre-orders brought quite a lot of new information. The available editions, pre-order bonus, first story expansion, digital edition prices, and new details about the Collector's Edition have been revealed.
The game's page also briefly displayed some very unusual system requirements. But things aren't quite that simple.
🎮 Standard Edition
The base edition includes Metro 2039 and the Specialist Pack pre-order bonus.
At the time of publication, the Standard Edition costs €69.99 on Steam in Europe and ₸23,500 in Kazakhstan.
🎁 Specialist Pack
The bonus is available to customers who pre-order the game.
The Specialist Pack includes three blueprints for interchangeable backpack upgrades:
- Equipment Specialist Pouch
- Chemtech Specialist Pouch
- Munitions Specialist Pouch
Thus, the bonus is directly tied to the equipment system and the backpack that can be used while exploring the world.
💿 Deluxe Edition
The Digital Deluxe Edition costs €99.99 on Steam and includes:
- the full version of Metro 2039;
- Story Expansion DLC;
- a digital artbook;
- a digital soundtrack;
- the Specialist Pack pre-order bonus.
And this is where one of the most interesting details emerged.
A future story expansion has been officially announced for Metro 2039.
Details about the DLC, its title, and release date have not yet been revealed.
Steam also states that owners of eligible digital games from the Metro series may receive a 10% discount on pre-orders of the Digital Deluxe Edition.
🪖 Collector's Edition
The Collector's Edition includes the main physical collector's item, a full-size wearable replica of the Wanderer Spartan's helmet.
The helmet was created directly from the protagonist's in-game 3D model and features damage, scratches, and other details matching its Metro 2039 version.
The Collector's Edition also includes:
- Metro 2039;
- an exclusive Steelbook;
- a hardcover artbook;
- Story Expansion DLC;
- a digital artbook;
- a digital soundtrack.
Deep Silver previously warned that the number of Collector's Editions would be limited.
The availability and price of physical editions depend on the region and retailer.
